After 2 years serving this community as Assistant Director, 2 years as Lead Rep for the Brazos Valley, serving on the Grievance Committee, and doing my time in the A&M PSA, I can cheerfully say that I am ready to take the next step in working for you. I am pleased to announce my candidacy for Executive Director.

I have spent the last 2 years on the board working with nearly every team and department in the organization to learn as much as possible. I have helped restart the CMA Recycling Program, revamp the Work Exchange Program, and reestablish exchange programs with other organizations, such as Heartland Spiritual Alliance. From here, I will look for ways to strengthen, expand and enrich CMA in the future.

As Executive Director, I am ready to put the lessons of my 9 years in CMA to good use. I will strive to make CMA a safe and inclusive community for all of our members, to make our organization sustainable (both financially and ecologically) and to prepare our organization to face a bright new future.

Fire Man Bill Singleton

I am seeking reelection as Executive Director of CMA for the year 2009

Formerly Director of Land and Facilities in 2004

I have the responsibilities of overseeing a multi- million dollar asset base, coordinating multiple skilled trades’ persons, implementing corporate strategies and supervising maintenance of facilities at DFW for my employer.

Under my current administration we have stopped making excuses of why something can not be accomplished and found ways to make projects happen.

We have built Matthews Healing station where we are 75% complete on the project and as money allows will finish out the building.

We have replaced the Fairy Mound fence, increased the area available for use, and leveled the area for the safety of our younger members.

We have leased out Spirit Haven to a to outside organizations for several events to help the land pay for it self

We are working with a Fortune 100 corporation on material donations and have received a few thousand dollars in material for our use as donations.

We have improved our local community relations by being supporting local events including the Muldoon Fire Department who services Spirit Haven.

We started construction of a guardian station and the permanent blessing station to finish construction before Samhain 2008.

My administration does not make excuses; we work hard to find ways to accomplish CMA goals and do not play politics.

My administration “GETS THINGS DONE”, the only BS is in the name.
