ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR CANDIDATES
Rachel Allen
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Rachel Allen, and I would like to be your next Assistant Executive Director. Currently, I am the Manager of Youth Services, and prior to that the Coordinator of Faerie Mound for 2 years. In serving our youngest members, I have developed a permanent team, scheduled programs so that our Youth have a well-rounded CMA experience, and managed one of the most successful fundraising campaigns in CMA history. Thanks to you, we were able to fund the construction of a new Faerie Mound fence, and provide for further construction and equipment for Youth Services. This brought into view the ultimate goal of making Youth Services the first self-sustaining department of CMA.
Although my main focus has been children throughout my 7 year membership in CMA, I have worked with a variety of departments including Entertainment, Safety Services, and Community Services. This has given me a fairly broad overview of this organization and how it operates. On top of my experience in CMA, I have held positions of leadership throughout my educational and professional careers. I have logged countless hours of event planning and coordination professionally, and I believe that all of these varied experiences and a love and respect for the Members of Council of Magickal Arts make me the correct choice for AED. Your concerns, wants and needs are of the utmost importance to me. I will be the Advocate for the Members on the Board. Thank you for your time and consideration.
