RUNNING FOR OFFICE
Notice: Election to an Office in CMA requires the use of your Legal Name. There is no expectation of privacy. CMA Officers have to be listed on public legal records. The Executive Director, Director of Records, and Treasurer will have to be prepared to file paperwork for Bonding as Fiduciary Officers of a 501c3 corporation.
The next series of elections will take place at the Great Works meeting during the Beltane 2017 festival. Per referendum vote in late 2016, the candidates for the CMA Board of Directors elected at Beltane 2017 shall hold office through the remaining 2017 term and the entire 2018 term. All board positions shall come up for member vote at Samhain 2018.
Requirements for candidacy can be found on the main Elections page, and the duties of the various CMA offices can be found here. Qualified members who wish to step forward to serve the CMA community are hereby invited to submit their Declaration of Candidacy for the 2017-2018 Board of Directors. All candidates will be vetted for qualification requirements by the current Director of Records, and once confirmed, the declarations will be posted on our Meet the Candidates page. The deadline for declarations is March 1, 2017, at 11:59PM (Central).
