ALL ABOUT CMA

The Council of Magickal Arts, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that exists to create two festivals a year and produce an online quarterly newsletter, The Accord. This association of practitioners of the religions of the magickal arts is over 900 members strong. CMA promotes spirituality based on Pagan beliefs, and is open to people of all traditions who are interested in celebrating nature, spirit and community.

OUR ORGANIZATION

Founded in 1980, CMA is a non-profit Texas corporation.

CMA’s Board of Directors includes the Executive Director, Assistant Executive Director, Director of Records, Director of Finance, Director of Communications and Director of Land and Facilities. We also have a representative for each geographical area with at least 20 resident CMA members. There are currently Representatives for the areas of:

PARTICIPATE IN MAGICKAL EVENTS
At Beltane and Samhain, several hundred CMA members gather for a weekend-long campout in Central Texas to celebrate the turning of the Wheel of the Year. Events include rituals presented by some of the different CMA member traditions, workshops, drumming, children’s and teens’ activities and much more.

ENJOY AN OUTSTANDING PAGAN MAGAZINE
Members can receive four issues a year of Accord, an e-zine found on CMA's web site. This exceptional magazine includes articles on Pagan spirituality and the practices of the magickal arts, multimedia reviews, Pagan parenting, online resources, magickal lore, religious tolerance, happenings in the Pagan community and messages from CMA officers.

BECOME A MEMBER OF CMA
Anyone 18 or older may join CMA. There is no charge for children, but they must be listed on their parent or legal guardian’s membership in order to attend gatherings.
